WWW Wednesdays
WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. What you do is answer the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
I am halfway through The Angels' Share by Rayme Waters. Overall I'm enjoying it. It's a bit slow, sometimes a good slow and sometimes a dull slow, but it's well-written and I'm curious to see what happens in the last half.
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished William Golding's Lord of the Flies over the weekend. I enjoyed it quite a bit. My review is here.
What do you think you'll read next?
I'll try to get through George R. R. Martin's third book in his A Song of Ice and Fire series, A Storm of Swords, before the end of the month.

Back to Martin huh? You are so good about sticking with a series! I jump all over the place as the mood strikes.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I have to agree Wilde is very energetic! :) Love it. Thx for stopping by my WWW!!
It's been quite some time since I've read Lord of the Flies. Disturbing, but a great read.
ReplyDeleteI still haven't read Lord of the Flies or A Song of Ice & Fire series. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Storm of Swords, Chris! That was my favorite of the series.
ReplyDeleteGreat to meet you. :)
I've heard from several people that's the best of the series so far.
DeleteGreat to meet you too, Julie!
Good choices. Not sure I'd like the Game of Thrones books . . but I REALLY feel like I am being left out!

I kinda dread you starting Storm of Swords...its going to activate my guilty book conscious and remind me that I STILL need to finish Clash of Kings. Hmm...I think that my mission for my upcoming flight to London to finish CoK. If I don't finish it I don't get to play in England. Ok...so maybe not that drastic of a consequence...but something. lol
ReplyDeleteMy WWW Wednesday is here.
Good for you for finishing a book that's at times dull-slow. So. Hard.To.Get.Through! I associate The Lord of the Flies with teaching - so a different mindset for me, but a great book nonetheless. And, good for you for getting through Martin's book three - their length tells me I might read them when I retire. In the meantime, I look forward to your reviews. For now the HBO series will do! Thanks for stopping by.
